International Webshop

An international B2B E-Commerce platform, based on the SAP NetWeaver portal 7.0, reforms the customer retention and automates the sales processes of VEKA AG, a medium-sized producer of window profiles. Within a project time of only six month, this new trading platform was developed with the SAP partner UNIORG. The key features include a.o. online price simulations, order tracking and variant configuration without using SAP IPC.

The new solution is complete integrated in the central VEKA SAP ERP system, but still independent of its availability. The realisation happened as a Web Dynpro for JAVA application, which accesses the relevant ABAP service.

Based on the pilot installation for the VEKA sales company in Russia and Great Britain, an E-Commerce template was realised, which will be rollout to the further international VEKA locations. For the intern performance monitoring (number of users, profits, etc.) the relevant data are loaded into the SAP BW 7.0 and the classification figures are visualised via SAP BusinessObjects XCELSIUS.
